FAIRSQUARED

FAIR SQUARED is an alternative trade organization that aims to reduce trade inequalities in the world. The company was founded based on the slogan of Oxfam's 2005 campaign "Make poverty history".

In 2010, the first FAIR SQUARED products were distributed through Oxfam and Amnesty International. Soon the idea was picked up by various student organisations in the UK and they actively participated in extending the distribution in England. The first products were condoms, hand creams and lip balms.

Demand grew and other business partners started to distribute FAIR SQUARED products in Scandinavia and the Benelux countries.

In 2013, the company moved to Cologne, established itself as FAIR SQUARED GmbH and relocated its production to the Eifel Nature Park. The range was expanded from 12 to 100 items. Due to the continuous customer demand, the number of fair trade raw materials was expanded to 15 partners alongside olive oil from Palestine, sweet almond oil from Pakistan, shea butter from Ghana and rubber from India.

FAIR SQUARED products are now distributed throughout Europe.
