PAN DO MAR

The Antonio Perez Lafuente cannery is a family business located in Vilanova de Arousa, Spain (northwest coast).

- Fishing is carried out by coastal fishing boats belonging to the local communities, with family traditions regarding fishing and crew and using traditional methods without overfishing.

- Artisanal canning: All the fish is cooked, cleaned and filleted by hand and canned in the factory according to local practices and recipes.

- Fishing is sustainable: The fish processed in the factory comes from fishing that is considered sustainable, using traditional methods and criteria approved by the FAO and environmental organisations (selective and controlled methods).
