LA RESERVE DE CHAMPLAT

La Réserve de Champlat, located in Tresques in the Gard Oriental, is a small business (15 people) which has existed since the end of the 1970s. It produces sterelised food tins and jars of vegetables and fruit, made "like at home" from top-quality organic and local ingredients. Cooked with know-how and just the right amount of condiments and spices, their products are simply remarkable and have exquisite natural tastes. Limited by their production capacity, most products are only available during the respective vegetable and fruit harvesting seasons.

Their historical speciality is the tomato, but the range has expanded to include other Provençal vegetables, and recently to the manufacture of soups. Their particularity is that these soups have to be diluted to obtain the desired consistency (vegetable purée, soup, velouté). This consumes less energy during preparation and transport; clever!
