Rhassoul clay washes!

100% eco-friendly, rhassoul can be used to wash your face and hair!  It is particularly suitable for dry and allergic skin and gives shine and volume to your hair.

Rhassoul has degreasing properties that allow it to be used as a mineral soap for skin and hair.  It absorbs impurities and fats, respects the hydrolipidic film of the hair and skin and does not irritate the sebaceous glands. It does not contain any surfactants or any polluting chemical components.

But where does this miracle product come from?

Rhassoul or ghassoul, a natural clay exploited in the Tamdafelt deposit located in the Atlas mountains in Morocco. Of a beige to a grey-brown colour, the clay is simply dried in the sun without the addition of chemicals or preservatives.  Rhassoul is then ground into a fine to ultrafine powder so that it can be used as is or in cosmetics, dermatology or pharmacy

A zero waste alternative par excellence

Rhassoul really should be part of your zero waste bathroom! You only have to mix lukewarm water with rhassoul clay to obtain a creamy paste. The water can be replaced with rose or orange blossom hydrolate to lightly scent your skin or hair:

For the body : Apply the paste to the body in circular movements and rinse.  Two in one, soap and scrub, you get a clean, soft and satin-smooth skin. .

For very dry skin : Add sweet almond or olive oil to the rhassoul/water mixture.

On wet hair : Gently massage your skin, leave on for 15 minutes and rinse thoroughly while brushing your hair. Your hair will be silky, shimmering and full of volume.

As a hair mask : To give vitality and suppleness to your hair, you can apply the paste rhassoul/orange blossom flower/argan oil as a mask.

Quite simple actually! But someone had to think about it first…

Economical and sustainable, you only have to try rhassoul once to immediately love it!  It will then become part of your ritual to cleanse and care for your skin and hair.
