1. Thanks to this composter you will create a circular economy with your household waste, whereby you will be a step closer to a zero waste life. Change your organic waste into a new source of life, and give your vegetable garden a natural boost!

2. Next, put the waste into the composter, after you have cut the biggest pieces in more little ones

3. For every new layer of waste, you have to add 20ml of activator. The bigger the amounts of waste you add, the more activator you need. As a guideline, we advise you to use 20ml of activator for every 5cm of waste.

4. Use the lid of the composter to tamp the waste. Next close it with the same lid.

5. Search for a suitable recipient to collect the fermentation liquid. Incline the composter 45 degrees to the back, and take away the stopper. By doing so, you make sure that the liquid doesn’t flow away.

6. Incline the composter forward, and collect the fermentation liquid. Repeat this treatment every 3 or 5 days.

7. When the compost bin is filled to about 5 cm below the edge, empty its contents into an organic waste bag or neighbourhood compost. Even better, close it for 14 days to obtain a top-quality compost base to mix with your soil or potting soil; it can then be used 2 months later for your window boxes or vegetable garden. If you have no other use, you can bury the bucket's contents directly into the soil.

8. The fermentation liquid that you obtain by doing so can be used undiluted to keep the pipework of your house clean, or to maintain your septic tank. Diluted with water (100x) it forms an excellent fertilizer with which you can feed your house and garden plants.
