To conclude...

What is the difference between a breadboard and a classic cutting board?

You may have noticed, but breadboards don't usually look much like the cutting boards you use to cut vegetables, meat, etc.

Breadboards are made of a grid and a collecting tray. When you cut your bread or baguette, the crumbs will be deposited in the tray. No more crumbs flying around your kitchen. You can then retrieve the crumbs and give them to the birds or your chickens for example.

If your bread is still warm, let it cool directly on your bread board.

Some breadboards also contain a guide for cutting your bread.

Usually, breadboards are always made of wood, while cutting boards can be made of plastic, marble, glass or wood.

As mentioned above, some breadboards also contain a guide to cut your bread. They are complicated to use, stay in the groove is not easy and finally it may end its days at the bottom of your closet. So don't opt for this model.

The board with grid and harvester is easy to use, presentable, it lets the bread breathe, the harvester can even be used as a presentation tray.  The only drawback is that with its grid, it is only used to cut the bread.

There are also bread boards without crumb collectors, which look like cutting boards. Cutting bread without sending crumbs everywhere is not easy! Choose those with a grid and a collector to cut your bread and baguette.
